Feathered Flowers

These Feathered Flowers look really good on this strippy quilt.  The curved lines show a great texture against the straight piecing lines.

Eethrees again

Here is another quilt that I have used the Eethrees design on.  I am sure the new wheels on my machine are making it a lot easier to quilt.  This was just a panel with nine different printed blocks.  Quilted up really nicely.

Eethree

Here are the pictures..... think of a combination of the number three and a curvy capital E and you may come close.  Goes well on any type of quilt.  Swirls, curves and spikes.

Rolling Ribbon

Sometimes the back of a quilt shows the quilting a lot clearer.  This rolling ribbon could be used on any quilt.  It just keeps rolling all over the quilt top, twisting and turning as it goes.

Feathered Flower

The Featherd Flower is scattered all over the quilt top with leaves and curls to fill the spaces.  These feathers are approximately the size of a 20c piece.

Frolicking Fern

The Frolicking Fern pattern looks good on quilts for males - both young or old.  Could equally be used on a quilt for a lady.  The ferns run continuously over the quilt top.

Happy Hearts

The Happy Hearts quilting pattern is great on Children's quilts -  old or young.  Whimsical hearts joined with curls and swirls placed radomly over the quilt surface.  Hearts are approximately 2-3" in size.

Another Pattern 4 - Fluttery Leaves

This is another of the tops received from Townsville for the Lockyer Valley residents affected by the recent flooding.  A scrappy quilt - I recognised some of the fabrics as being in my stash too.  The fluttery leaves goes great with all the straight seams and unifies all the colours together.

I really liked this backing fabric sent down with the tops.  I could have used it for a top by itself.

Another Pattern 2 - Swirls Quilt

This top was all hand pieced.  It was a donation from Townsville to be used  for the Lockyer Valley residents affected by the floods.  I have quilted it with a swirls pattern.  Looks great over the pieced stars.  I even liked the backing fabric the ladies from Townsville sent with the tops.
The colours of the daffodils worked perfectly with the colour of the stars.

Pattern 5 ---- Free Form Fern

Pattern 5

Is a Free Form Fern.

Creates great texture on a top and the size of the fronds can be adjusted to suit the size of the blocks.

Here it is on a very bright baby blanket.  Even the back was bright.
.

Pattern 4 ---Fluttery Leaves

Pattern 4 is the Fluttery Leaves

Heart shaped leaves echoed and swirled to fill the quilt spaces.

Could be used on any type of quilt top.  Here it is used on a  sampler  type quilt top.  Each block is different with a large sashing between.

The back of the quilt shows the overall texture achieved from the design.

Pattern 3 -- Spiked Swirls

This is Pattern 3 - Spiked Swirls

The front of this quilt was very busy and did not show up the quilting at all.  It is a bright coloured bargello so has lots of small pieces.

This pattern provides a lot of texture to a top.

Suitable for any gender and any type of quilt top.

Pattern 2 -- Giant Swirls

This the second pattern you may choose from.

Giant Swirls.  Large swirls with a smaller infill between them to suit the quilt top.  Looks great on any quilt top.  Suitable for quilts pieced for men or teenagers.

The back of the quilt show up the Largeness of the swirl.  Makes a quilt  reversible on a plain backing fabric.

Pattern 1 ---- Large Baptist Fan

This is the first pattern of the five.

It is a large Baptist Fan.
Suitable for many different types of quilts.
The curved lines soften the straight edges of many pieced quilts.  This pattern was often used on older quilt as a traditional quilting pattern.

Even the back shows up the Baptist Fan design well.
